Attention New Jersey: Get Started in Your New Career with Massage Therapy Classes Online
Did you know that massage therapists are in demand across New Jersey? There has never been a bigger demand for trained and licensed massage therapists in the state, and spas and clinics are desperate to hire new, talented therapists to treat their customers. If you have been interested in massage therapy in the past but always assumed that you don’t have the time or money to devote to the education requirements, think again. With affordable massage therapy classes online, anyone can get the training they need to become a licensed massage therapist in New Jersey.
Massage therapy classes online prepare you for New Jersey licensing.
In order to become a massage therapist in New Jersey, you need 500 hours of education. Our hybrid program offers a simple, convenient way to complete these requirements, even if you’re juggling a fulltime job, kids, and other demands daily. The process is simple:
- Sign up for the program—you can start at any time!
- Take online courses in science, business, and theory.
- Complete hands-on training at a spa or clinic near your home.
Many of the spas and clinics that partner with us are actively hiring. That means you may complete your education and walk straight into a job opportunity.
To receive initial licensure, an applicant must graduate from an approved school with at least 500 hours, or successfully pass or an exam given by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork or the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (MBLEx).
Hybrid learning means you learn at your own pace.
Our program doesn’t work on a semester system, and you can start and end all of your courses at any time. With no deadlines or due dates, you can adapt the program to your needs. Space things out to accommodate a hectic work schedule, or use your free time to work through courses quickly. Some students complete our program in less than six months, so you can progress to your new career quickly, but if your schedule requires you to take longer, you can do so without penalty.
Our partners offer scholarships and employment opportunities.
We’ve selected our partner massage spas and clinics in New Jersey for a few different reasons. Every site guarantees you will work with licensed massage therapists in a structured learning program that gives you the hands-on experience you need in the field, but we’ve also chosen them because they are actively looking to hire our graduates. After becoming licensed, many students find themselves working in the same spas and clinics in which they did their training.
Our partners also offer scholarships that can make it easier than ever to pay for your education. If a spa or clinic decides to offer you a job, they may offer you a scholarship agreement in which they will reimburse 50% of your tuition or take over your tuition payments as long as you follow through with getting a license and work at least 20 hours per week.
Spa/Clinic will make up to your tuition payments if you are on the payment plan OR reimburse you 50% of your tuition
Spa/Clinic will make those payments once you are licensed and as long as you are working there 20 hours a week
